So...I haven't been on here in a while. Occasionally I think "Hey, I should check livejournal," but for the most part my online life is being lived elsewhere.

I've been posting in this journal since 2004 (!!) and it's been with me through a lot; I've been part of some great communities and made wonderful friends. But this has been a long time coming, methinks.

I'll probably still check my friends page and comment and stuff but this will, for real real, my last post.

Just a quick break from your (ir)regularly scheduled posts for an announcement:

As some of you may have heard, over the weekend the Philippines (specifically Luzon and the Manila area) was battered by Tropical Storm Ondoy. Although my family was (thankfully!) not affected by the worst of it, many many others were.
